A PhD is often seen as a springboard for a career in research, but it can also open doors to careers in other fields, such as politics, finance or education.
3 years of research seminar coordination:
HEICR schedules five meetings a year with the PhD supervisor and the student researcher. These meetings, known as "research seminars" or "PhD workshops", enable students to present their work and obtain comments and suggestions from their PhD supervisor and other members of the PhD committee.
In general, student researchers are encouraged to be proactive and to communicate regularly with their PhD supervisor, sending progress reports, chapter drafts, questions and comments (by e-mail, zoom,
telephone...).
Regular exchanges :
help ensure the quality and coherence of the PhD, reduce the risk of blockages and foster the motivation and confidence of the student-researcher.
In general, it can be estimated that a student-researcher can have between 2 and 4 exchanges per month with his/her PhD supervisor, i.e. around 24 to 48 exchanges per year.
HEICR demonstrates a strong commitment to social responsibility through its flexible fee structure. This structure takes into account factors like family income and composition, ensuring educational opportunities are accessible to a wider range of students.
